Branding and Marketing a Clinical Trials Services Company
When Cardiocore chose MillerVolpe as their agency of record in 2007, they were one of several cardiac testing companies in a group that lagged well behind a few clear leaders in the clinical trials services industry. While strategies to increase their brand’s value were sound, they needed a creative agency who could execute those ideas through a powerful and unique integrated marketing campaign.
The “core” of the campaign was a beautifully designed and rendered anatomical heart, made up of key words and terms associated with Cardiocore’s services and industry standards. An integrated campaign, including a newly branded website, trade show booths, sales support materials, and strategically placed advertising, immediately put the cardiac testing industry on notice.
In a matter of 2 years from the launch of the newly refreshed brand, Cardiocore went from being a third-tier services company to one of the leaders in global cardiac safety and efficacy testing for clinical trials. They have since been acquired and now act as the research arm of BioTelemetry (Nasdaq: BEAT), a leader in remote health monitoring.
