BRAND CHALLENGE

When serial entrepreneur Barclay Knapp and the executive team at M2M Spectrum Networks came to MillerVolpe to launch their brand image, they needed to do two things: make a major impression on the technology and investment communities, and explain to the world what the heck machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and the Internet of Things (IoT) mean.

CREATIVE SOLUTION

Being a leading innovator in the new wave of IoT technology solutions, M2M Spectrum needed a striking brand image that would be the face of their company going forward. In response, MillerVolpe created the “gear-eyed” woman. Using the original M2M Spectrum logo as our guide, we retouched her irises in the shape of the gear, creating a unique brand image that blends the human element with a gaze that leads us into the futuristic world of IoT.

EYE-OPENING RESULTS

Less than 2 years after the launch of their new brand campaign, M2M Spectrum Networks is making major inroads into the burgeoning M2M and IoT marketplace. The company is implementing solutions in low-cost vehicle tracking, asset tracking for hospital and prison systems, Smart Cities, and a nationwide network of FCC-licensed 800mHz spectrum, for secure and affordable M2M communications.
